A one-hour manners class for littles ages 5 and up, designed to build confidence in everyday social settings.

Through role play, games, and hands-on activities, children will practice essential skills like meeting and greeting others, using polite language, table manners, place settings, navigating birthday parties and special occasions, and writing thank-you notes.

This playful, confidence-building class helps littles feel comfortable, capable, and prepared for the social moments they’ll encounter every day.

Manners: Getting Started on the Right Track


A fun, confidence-building class for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 4th grade. This class introduces children to the everyday manners that help them feel comfortable, kind, and confident in social settings.

Children will focus on courtesy, respect, politeness, and friendliness through age-appropriate activities, role play, and guided practice. They’ll learn simple ways to greet others, use kind language, listen well, and show consideration for those around them.

This class is a wonderful first step in helping children build strong social skills and understand how thoughtful words and actions can make a big difference every day.

About Mrs. Hayes

Mrs. Hayes brings warmth, experience, and a lifelong love of teaching to every class. She holds a Master of Arts in Education from Ball State University and spent 27 years teaching elementary education, where she developed a deep understanding of how children learn, grow, and build confidence.

Outside of the classroom, she has been married for 40 years and is the proud mother of three grown children, who are now married and bringing the joy of grandchildren into her life. Her background as an educator, mother, and grandmother gives her a thoughtful, nurturing approach to helping children feel comfortable, capable, and confident in social situations.
